  We hired Imperial Floor Covering to level our floors before installing hardwood. We paid them a $500 deposit to start. Once they arrived at the house to begin the project the installer said he could not successfully perform the job. They then called in another crew that quoted an absurd amount of money to level the entire first floor of the house. We decided not to pursue the project, which was no big deal. The problem was Imperial Floor Covering would not return the full $500 Deposit!!!! They performed zero work and refunded only $250! Not the kind of company I would ever do business with again. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
