  Went into this salon and had a regular manicure a few times as well and a pedicure. Was happy with those visits. Within the last 6 weeks went in for a gel manicure on my fingers only. The gal in there did a great job. After 3.5 weeks it was time to go back. I went in and that gal I was told was out of the country. Asked the gentleman, who is usually there as well, if he does gels and he said yes. He used heavily saturated cotton balls with their solution placing them on my nails on top and bottom of my fingers and then put purple clips to keep them on. He then proceeded to use their drill to get the remaining polish off. I went home and during the night woke up with swollen and burning fingers that itched for hours. Didn't sleep that night. The only time this has happened is years ago when I had this reaction after having acrylic nails put on. I am highly allergic. I don't know if its their solution or if acrylic was put on my nails but it was one of those that caused this reaction. I went to Ultra and they said it was acrylic that was put on my nails not gel. My nails currently feel like they are going to fall off. My nails are curled inwardly and looked like a fungus is growing under my nails. My cuticles all around my nails are peeling, cracked, blistered and swollen even under the finger nails are very swollen lifting my nails. They are very sore especially when water hits them. I believe the solution (they couldn't tell me what it was) is so inferior that for some people it is toxic. I pray my nails do not fall off. I will not go back as I have had others I did recommend this salon to and now that they saw my nails will also not go back. I know these salons need to be competitive but go with a salon where you know the product is good and reputable. It will take months for my fingers to heal as it has already been over 6 weeks and they are a mess. Be aware what these salons are using. I would give it no stars if it allowed me to do so!

  Love this place have going to them for years. Always happy with my service. They do a fantastic job.
